Xiaoxi Zhao is a Lead Research Scientist at the Brown University School of Public Health. Her research focuses on vertical integration and ownership structure in health care markets, and how markets respond to major policy changes including Medicare payment reforms. Her work has been published in journals including the American Economic Review, American Economic Journal: Economic Policy, the Journal of Public Economics, and Health Affairs. She received her PhD in economics from Boston University.
