Jared Perkins MPA
Biography
Jared Perkins is Director of Health Policy Strategy at the Center for Advancing Health Policy through Research (CAHPR) at Brown University's School of Public Health. Since 2017, he has worked on health care policy in Washington, D.C., with roles at the RAND Corporation, the Alliance for Health Policy, and the National Association of Community Health Centers, focusing on health care costs, price transparency, health care consolidation, Medicare and Medicare Advantage, mental health and substance use disorders, and veterans health care. Earlier in his career, he worked in the office of former U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, covering health care and rural county issues. Jared holds a Master's in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Reno.
